In 1492 Leonardo Da Vinci was commissioned by the Duke of Milan to create an inspirational mural in the dining room of the Convent of Santa Maria delle Grazie in Milan. As an appropriate theme for this room, Leonardo chose that dramatic moment in the life of Jesus Christ when he celebrated his last Passover Meal with his disciples; a few days before his death on the cross. In this painting, Leonardo picked that dramatic moment when Jesus said:
"Amen, I say to you, one of you shall betray me."

Under the direction of Deacon Pat Byrne, we staged "The Living Last Supper." The apostles were chosen from our parishioners. The costumes & props were made by the parishioners. The music was provided by Lupe Gutierez, Fr. Edumundo, and members of our choir. It was a production that involved so many of our parish members. It was a huge success and was seen by so many people, including folks from other Pueblo Christian denominations. This production is now a living tradition that will stage every Lenten season.
