BAPTISM
Baptism Information
All parents are required to attend a Baptism Class prior to the Baptism of their child(ren). Godparents are strongly encouraged to attend as well. Baptism classes are offered quarterly; each consists of one four-hour Saturday session. Children over age 7 must first be enrolled in their appropriate grade in religious education prior to Baptism.
If you would like to enroll in a Baptism class, please stop by the parish office to pick up a Baptism packet. Paperwork and fees must be returned PRIOR to the class.
Godparent Information
A Godparent must be a practicing Catholic who is in good standing. Below are the criteria for Catholic Godparents:

Must be over the age of 16

Must have received the Sacraments of Baptism, First Communion and Confirmation

Must be attending Mass weekly and be registered in a parish.

Must be in good standing with the church which means:

If married, must be married in the Catholic church

If divorced, must not be remarried.

If single, must not be living with someone with whom he/she is not married.
